Indian Army Recruitment 2026: Over 44,000 Vacancies and Officer Entry Dates Announced

The Indian Army has announced a massive recruitment drive for 2026, featuring over 44,000 vacancies under the Agnipath scheme for various Agniveer roles. The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) is scheduled to take place from June 1 to June 15, 2026, across the country, with admit cards becoming available starting May 15.

In addition to soldier entries, several high-profile officer and civilian opportunities are currently open:

  • Territorial Army Officers: Applications are open from April 20 to May 19, 2026, for gainfully employed citizens, with the exam set for July 12.

  • Remount & Veterinary Corps (RVC): The 95th SSC RVC Course is accepting applications from veterinary graduates until May 15 (Women) and May 18 (Men).

  • Civilian Switch Board Operator (CSBO): A notification for 190 Group 'C' civilian posts is active, with applications accepted through May 31, 2026.

All interested candidates must apply exclusively through the official portal at joinindianarmy.nic.in.
