 Indian Army Concludes Specialised Aviation Security Training for CISF in Tripura ​The Indian Army recently completed a 14-day specialised training programme for Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at the Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala, Tripura. Organised under the Spear Corps and the Red Shield Division, the initiative ran from July 27 to August 8, 2026.   ​The comprehensive module focused on enhancing airport security through practical and theoretical sessions. Army instructors trained CISF staff in modern threat-mitigation tactics, including Quick Reaction Team drills, vital area protection, counter-drone capabilities, and high-speed contingency responses. This collaborative effort marks a significant step in military-civil fusion, aiming to bolster the physical endurance and tactical readiness of security forces guarding India's critical aviation infrastructure.
